What to write

Truth is there are a thousand things that I would like to write about on this blog. I think of at least one or two good ideas while walking the dog every day! 

The problem is that I am afraid to write what I really think and feel. I am afraid that if I expose myself, then I will be subject to censorship and have my rights to move freely across borders, to pursue new job opportunities, to take fun or interesting vacations will be infringed upon.

I'm not quite at the place where I am afraid someone will break into my home, my safe space in the wee hours of the morning to drag me away for sharing my opinions, questions, pursuit of knowledge, my value system  publicly expressed.

And I wonder. How many other people out there in the world are also holding back. Not commenting on social media, not expressing their true opinions, thoughts, desires, values for fear that they will be somehow socially punished in this modern era of national fascism.
